First of all, who doesn't love hand print or finger print artwork? I mean, come on. It is so sentimental and an awesome memory to treasure for the years to come! This finger print craft came out so cute and was so EASY! Thanks to Pinterest for the inspiration! Of course, it isn't the same as Pinterest, but it is still quite cute if I do say so myself! And it is also the perfect gift for grandparents at Christmas time!
All that was needed was a paintbrush, some paint, and a small, thin canvas! Oh, and your child's hand, of course! I drew a black curly line, painted my son's pointer finger, since his are small, and pressed down gently, being careful not to slide! Boom. Lightbulb.
Let it dry and frame it!
Love it!
Pro Tips: Keep baby wipes or a wet rag nearby and wipe your little ones hands clean after each application of paint to keep the mess minimal, and to avoid blending of colors!
Have you tried this craft before? How did it turn out?
No joke, I saw this yesterday and we tried it. Love it! So fun and adorable. Thanks!!
I love figure painting, my kids do too! This is a wonderful thing for holiday pass time for card to the family! I will definitely be doing this for homemade this year
This turned out adorable! I found this just in time for making holiday crafts this weekend. We are already pulling out the paint, so this idea will make for adorable holiday cards for preschool teachers.
